Abstract
Laboratory testing plays a crucial role in healthcare diagnostics, research, and public health surveillance. Quality assurance and control (QA/QC) processes are essential to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of laboratory test results. This paper examines the significance of QA/QC in laboratory testing and explores strategies for improving QA/QC processes. It discusses the principles of QA/QC, including standardization, proficiency testing, and quality management systems. Additionally, it examines emerging technologies and innovative approaches for enhancing QA/QC in laboratory testing. The paper also addresses challenges in implementing QA/QC measures and provides recommendations for overcoming these challenges. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance the quality and reliability of laboratory testing, thereby improving patient care and healthcare outcomes
